What is IGNITEyouth?
IGNITEyouth is what some people know as youth group. It is basically a group of young people who meet every Friday night over the school term to hang out, eat food, praise God, play games.
Normal times are;
6pm-8pm
with ignition following on at 8pm
Who can come to IGNITEyouth?
Anyone in year 6 to year 12
What does a normal youth night look like?
A usual night involves a live band, praise & worship, some insane games, a short talk, food, pool tables, table tennis, basketball and whatever else that is awesomely fun.
What is Praise & Worship?
Praise & Worship is something we love to do at IGNITEyouth. It is a time to encounter God’s presence. Young people at our Church love to get into God’s presence through Praise & Worship. At IGNITEyouth we do this through a live band who lead everyone in singing songs to our God.
People who aren’t used to coming to church and experiencing life changing Praise & Worship always are wanting more once they get a taste of it.
Are there any rules if I come on a Friday night?
Yeh, just a few:
- Once you arrive and IGNITEyouth has started you cannot leave the building until someone is there to pick you up or your organized lift has arrived to take you.
- Doors will not open until the scheduled time to start.
- IGNITEyouth is a drug & alcohol free place.
- IGNITEyouth is NOT a dating service.
