Well, well, well….look who finally figured out how to log in!!!
Hey guys, Im here!!
As much as this year has been great i have one really BIG issue with what we’ve been saying for the past term and a bit.
At the start of the year at summer camp we all ran around saying the change starts here and burning all our problems on bits of paper.
But what if i said to all of you that that isnt the answer?? That isnt enough…
We need to stop living ‘the change starts here’ and start living ‘the change is already happening!!’
And as much fun as setting fire to all our problems is, we need to really get down to the core of the issue…ie our daily walk with God! We cant really hope to achieve much by burning some paper can we?? Real change comes from a relationship with our Creator.
And a real relationship with our Creator comes from doing our daily walk with Him (reading your bible, praying, that sort of thing)
So…the change starts here is a helpful phrase but needs to be put into the past. What we should be doing is the change is already happening!!
Problems wont go away just by burning them on paper, we need a real relationship with Jesus.
And finally, a real relationship comes from spending time with Him daily!!
